Nova did an incredible job of capturing our wedding this summer. She was extremely professional, patient, and the quality of her work was top notch. Working with Nova was super easy as she found the balance between helping us organize and giving us freedom to plan our own day. Highly recommended as Nova was the best investment we made in our wedding.

When you dream about your wedding day, you dream about all the details - the flowers, the colours, the dress, and most importantly, the person you'll walk down the aisle to. When it comes time to actually put all these pieces together, it can be daunting and overwhelming task. Decisions, decisions, decisions. The easiest decision for me (other than the man I was marrying) was choosing Nova as our photographer. I knew I was making a smart choice I wouldn't regret, especially leading up to the wedding as I continued to see all the amazing photos she had shot in the previous months of other couple's weddings - they looked spectacular and the other couples sounded so happy with her work. When it came time for our wedding down in sunny Los Cabos, Mexico, both Nova and her second shooter, Matt (also her husband), were both absolutely spectacular to work with - they were directive, took charge - but in a friendly way - and got everyone feeling comfortable and good about taking photos. She also moved us through all of the family photos, and different poses effortlessly. We were having so much fun taking photos together - it felt natural and easy! That's exactly what you need on your wedding day - to feel like things are effortless, and you're having the best day ever, which I was. Lastly, Nova's work speaks for itself. When we got our photos back we were ecstatic. They were every bit as good as we hoped for and beyond. I 100% recommend Nova and will be using her for many years to come for each and every photo opportunity I have!
We booked Nova nearly 2 years in advance of our wedding because I knew she had the vision and style I wanted for our wedding and engagement photos. She is professional, easy to communicate with, quick to respond, and I knew I could count on her on my wedding day! Prior to our wedding, we met up to go over certain shots I wanted to capture. I wanted our photos to be natural, organic, candid, but also very editorial-like, and Nova delivered just that! She even exceeded our expectations! When we got our photos back, our jaws completely dropped.. they were absolutely gorgeous. We got SO many compliments on how amazing our wedding photographer was and how wonderful our photos turned out. Now I have these memories to cherish forever - Thank you so much Nova!
We can’t say enough great things about Nova and her assistant Aroha for our wedding in June 2018. We wanted a fun and exciting photographer to capture our special day, and they were exactly that. Both were very enthusiastic and they were able to capture a lot of what we wanted in a short amount of time. It did not feel rushed and they allowed us the time to enjoy every moment. Nova was extremely professional, helpful and friendly throughout the entire wedding planning process. She was extremely quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. The photos we received are amazing. Our friends and family have had nothing but compliments on the final product. Photography was the first thing we booked. No questions asked I knew Nova was who I wanted to photograph such an important day in our lives. I’ve have had the pleasure of attending past weddings where she did the photography and let me tell you she goes above and beyond. I’ve seen her save a few weddings by having last minute items on hand when needed, to knowing exactly what to do with unexpected weather or last minute surprises that happen. She genuinely cares about your day and this is what makes her stand out from the rest! We had our engagement shoot booked first and it turned out to be the hottest and rainiest day we had seen in weeks but Nova knew how important it was for us to get these photos done. She didn’t cancel or rush us; instead she patiently waited out the rain and with a window of opportunity she got to work making things comfortable and fun. The photos came back in time and we had so many to choose from and they all turned out stunning! On our wedding day Nova and her husband Matt got all the shots we wanted and more. Her attention to detail is spectacular! They even managed to sneak us out for a few sunset photos which gave us as newlyweds a moment away from all the hustle and bustle to relax and take it all in. These are by far some of our favorite photos that we will treasure forever! Not only do we love Matt and Nova but our guest did too. They had nothing but great things to say about the two of them and the work that they do! If you are newly engaged and needed a photographer I sincerely suggest Nova.
